Twelve Is The New Six: Prototype Eyefinity 12 Rig Spotted

I remember seeing the Eyefinity
6-monitor setup being demoedand subsequently having to scrape my jaw off
the ground. The idea of being ableto use 6 monitors to power such an
immersive gaming experience blew my mind! Justwhen I had pieced together
the remnants of my brain matter, these pictures havesurfaced of the
PowerColor HD5970 Eyefinity 12. Yes you heard me. This setuphas 12,
count em’ TWELVE Mini Display ports and 4 whole gigabytes of DDR5 RAM!
Whilethere is no footage and there is always a chance of an elaborate
hoax, but withdreams of seeing a 4x3 or 6x2 monitor setup playing
Crysis; guarding myselffrom pure disappointment, I’ll wait with baited
breath. I guess we’ll just haveto see if they come up with something at
the upcoming Computex in June!
