PostHeaderIcon Samsung Unveils 3D-Capable Phone In Korea

Think the 3D craze only limited to movies, video games, PCs and TVs? Not for long; as Samsung has just adapted the 3D technology into their new W960 mobile phone. Yes, a mobile phone! Looks like the current wave of 3D hoo-ha are not going to wane down anytime soon.

Spotting a 3.2-inch AMOLED capacitive touch display, the 3D function on W960 is rather unique compared to other platforms that we mentioned earlier. The function can be turned on or off within a touch of a button and it also doesn’t require the use of 3D glasses. A rather logical move by Samsung there since it would be ridiculous if a user need to bring a pair of 3D glasses wherever they go, just for the phone's 3D capability.

For the time being, there is no words whether the Samsung W960 will be available for market's outside of Korea. You can find more about the device at its official website (http://bit.ly/bT1HDw)… if you are able to read and understand Korean, that is.
