Maxis Unveils Unprecedented 2010 FIFA World Cup Experience

Recently, Maxis Berhad announced its sponsorship and acquisition of the Fifa mobile content rights, so you’ll never have to miss a match and you will know of every goal the minute it happens.

Maxis will be delivering an exceptional range of exclusive 2010 Fifa World Cup services online, via mobile, and also deliver a range of applications specially designed for the event. Online customers can enjoy streaming of all the 64 matches and 26 live matches exclusive to Maxis and Astro subscribers only. On the mobile platform, Maxis will be delivering exclusive streaming of all the 64 matches such as alerts (SMS, MMS and even video), downloads of official games, caller ringtone, themes and such.
Additionally, Maxis has also designed special Fifa World Cup applications for several smartphones such as the iPhone, BlackBerry and android devices so they can receive seamless alerts on daily news, fixtures, results, country profiles, venue information, hall of fame and historical data.
Maxis 2010 FIFA World Cup™ Brand Ambassadors
In conjunction with the broadcast sponsorship of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™, Maxis announced the signing of international and Malaysian football legends as its brand ambassadors. They included Frank Lampard and Lionel Messi; Dato’ Soh Chin Aun, Santokh Singh, James Wong and Hassan Sani.
